On 12 November 2025 in Bucharest, the e-Health, Big Data & AI Hub, together with the Romanian Undiagnosed Rare Diseases Group of the Genomics Research and Development Institute, organised the international workshop "Pharmacogenomics for the Undiagnosed: Translating Genetics into Care", under the aegis of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network International (UDNI).
The event brought together researchers, clinicians, genomics experts and patient-organisation representatives from the United States, Australia, Italy, the United Kingdom and Romania, in hybrid format — 20 participants on-site and 55 online — to discuss the role of pharmacogenomics in translating genetic discoveries into care for patients with rare or undiagnosed diseases.
