Awards and Recognitions for the CieH Team in 2025

2025 brought several important distinctions for the CieH team. The 3D Printing Lab won the Best Paper Award at Nanobiomat Summer Edition, for its work on laser parameters in 3D-printing titanium lattice structures, and First Prize for best e-poster at the National Congress of Cardiovascular Surgery, for a case series of malignant cardiac tumours planned preoperatively with 3D models. The team also won First Prize at the 1Health Biotech Startup Bootcamp, confirming the technology-transfer potential of the lab's research.

The Extended Reality Lab won First Prize in the poster category at the EANS Young Neurosurgeons Congress in Catania, Italy. The e-Health, Big Data & AI Hub won the RoMD-MedAI project through the UEFISCDI competition, and the 3D Printing Lab reconfirmed its ISO 13485 certification following its annual external audit.
