Large-scale medical data analysis and the development of artificial intelligence solutions for research and clinical practice.
The Data Analysis & Artificial Intelligence Core was set up as a strategic response to the need to build institutional capacity for integrating and using medical data rigorously, reproducibly, and with real impact. Its work rests on four pillars: evidence-based medicine, precision medicine, methodologically validated artificial intelligence, and data governance.
The core's mission is to create a sustainable institutional framework for medical innovation and translational research in data analysis and AI — from developing and validating clinically applicable AI models to attracting competitive funding and facilitating technology transfer.
In practice, the core organizes educational events (workshops, conferences, hackathons, mentoring, eLearning), supports academic writing and data analysis, manages dedicated hardware and software infrastructure, and takes part in nationally and internationally funded projects.
