The e-Health, Big Data & AI Hub organised the first edition of CyberMed — "Cybersecurity in the Age of Healthcare Digitalisation: Regulation, Education and Patient Data Protection" —, bringing together 80 specialists from cybersecurity, medicine and IT, alongside representatives of public authorities and the private sector.
Discussions covered global cyber threats facing the healthcare sector, the risks specific to health-system digitalisation, prevention and incident-response measures, and the relevant legislative framework, including GDPR and the NIS2 Directive.
