CieH launched the UMFCD Digital Solutions Accelerator, the university's first accelerator and mentorship programme for UMFCD students and graduates looking to turn an idea into an e-Health startup. The programme was backed by €7,500 in sponsorship from AstraZeneca and €7,500 from Johnson & Johnson Romania.
Over 120 entrepreneurial ideas were submitted for the first edition; 40 were shortlisted, and the 10 best digital solutions competed in the final. The 3 winning teams received a full year of mentorship to develop their projects.
