"Print to Educate" — the Student 3D-Printing Contest

CieH's 3D Printing Lab closed its "Learn to Print, Print to Learn" webinar series — 6 courses with more than 70 student participants — with a contest for applied 3D-printing ideas in medicine, drawing 9 student project entries.

Three stood out: a 3D-printed pharmaceutical testing apparatus, proposed by Siluan Ivan and Dora Stoica; a vein-visualisation and auto-injection device, proposed by Dragomir Mihai and Miloiu Ana-Maria; and a digital "Protocol Design Virtual" mock-up, by Octavian Froimovici.
