Summer School for Young Geneticists

UMFCD's Department of Medical Genetics, together with the Center for Innovation and e-Health through the e-Health, Big Data & AI Hub, organised the Summer School for Young Geneticists, aimed at resident doctors, specialists and senior physicians interested in medical genetics and genomics, with 110 participants.

The programme covered updates on available genetic tests and their interpretation, the role of genetics in diagnosis, prognosis and personalised therapy, and the strengthening of interdisciplinary collaboration and professional networks. The event was given national coverage by Viața Medicală magazine.
