UMFCD's First Dysmorphology Workshop

The Center for Innovation and e-Health, together with UMFCD's Department of Medical Genetics, held the university's first dysmorphology workshop on 6 March 2025, with 20 participants.

The event focused on the interdisciplinary knowledge needed to assess phenotypes in genetic pathology — from using artificial intelligence to identify craniofacial dysmorphology and its potential in paediatric screening programmes, to the diagnostic value of hair-shaft analysis and standardised anthropometric assessment methods.
