The Center of Innovation and e-Health pursues the implementation of innovation and e-Health strategies and policies in order to develop UMFCD in the directions targeted by the Organization and Operation Regulation, in accordance with the vision, mission and policy of the University and in accordance with the national, European and International.

CieH objectives

Identifying opportunities to develop access to technology for education and research programs in UMFCD
Identifying international and national funding opportunities for building digital solutions at the UMFCD level, useful in meeting the sustainable development objectives of the 2030 Agenda
Training students on the new technologies available, the applicability of artificial intelligence in the medical sector to serve as an entrepreneurial hub and innovation core
Developing e-Health culture among students
Supporting innovation activity, supporting the obtaining of invention patents, as well as technology transfer opportunities
Supporting "start-up" or "spin-off" initiatives
Encouraging research projects that result in the development of e-health/m-health IT solutions and the integration of these solutions into the University's IT platforms
Development of an e-learning system and a methodology for using the online environment in the educational process
Support the use of 3D printing techniques
Biotechnologies
Big data analysis
Other activities proposed by its members and approved by the EC
