INNOV.STUD — Innovative Education for UMFCD Students
CieH's first major FDI project built, in a single year, the practice bases for 3D Printing, Medical Simulation, Telesemiology and Big Data analysis, coordinated by Ș.L. Dr. Ștefan Busnatu, with a budget of RON 1,483,260.
The problem
UMFCD did not yet have dedicated practice bases for medical simulation, 3D printing, telesemiology and data analysis at the scale needed to train students in these emerging fields.
What we do
The project equipped CieH's new premises on Pitar Moș street, signed partnerships with Kronmed and LSMDB, acquired 2 3D printers, and ran dozens of workshops and courses — from basic surgical techniques to space physiology — attended by over 1,400 students.
Impact
The project laid the infrastructure on which CieH later built all of its other innovation hubs, from Extended Reality to Space Medicine.
