The Department of Medical Simulation at CieH-UMFCD is organizing a new edition of the “Basic Skills in Echocardiography” workshop in 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 on 𝟐𝟕.𝟎𝟔.𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟔:𝟎𝟎, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝟒-𝟔 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲.
During the workshop, participants will acquire essential practical skills for their future medical careers and gain knowledge about echocardiography.
Echocardiography is an imaging investigation of the heart, a very important link in the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. It is a non-invasive, painless, non-radiating method. Using ultrasound, it allows the heart to be visualized on a screen in the form of sections and its functionality and morphology to be closely examined.
